TRL11’s Video Intelligence Platform is a collection of A.I. Enabled Machine Vision software and protocols that facilitate reliable live and file-based video distribution even in the most extreme environments such as space downlink and uplink, spacecraft to spacecraft communications, and secure terrestrial redistribution.

VIPLink™ is TRL11’s client-server software solution designed specifically for the demands of space operations. It enables reliable downlinking and uplinking of video streams, video files, data files, and command/control inputs. Unlike traditional protocols which require a three-way handshake and fail under the conditions typical of space (e.g., low bandwidth, intermittent connectivity, and packet loss)—VIPLink™ is a robust, connectionless protocol optimized for these challenges.

HARDWARE CONTROL AND INTEGRATION

VIPLink supports both API and web GUI interfaces, enabling flexible use from orbit or the ground. It integrates with TRL11 hardware and software at both ends and provides complete access to on-orbit SAVER units. Users can configure video capture settings, manage camera controls, and directly download video data without routing through centralized mission control.
